MA art group exhibition Pride and courage opened in the Central Military Club
In the Small Gallery of the Central Military Club the traditional December exhibition of the MA art group "Pride and courage – 1912” was opened Friday night."
According to the chairman of the Art Group of the MA, retired general Ljubisa Stojimirovic, the exhibition is devoted to the historical memory of the two major anniversaries: the victory of the liberation of the Serbian Army in the First Balkan War and the centenary of the formation of Serbian military aviation.
In addition to reviewing the significant moments of our past, due attention was paid to Gordana Savic, the wife of the killed pilot, Major Goran Savic. In memory of the brave feat of her husband, Gordana got a picture, "Gold Coin", presented to her by the author Milica Katic.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Brigadier General Miodrag Gordic, Air Force deputy commander, Colonel Dejan Joksimovic, Air Force Command Chief of Staff and retired general, Dr. Luka Kastratovic from the Association of Generals and Admirals Serbia.
The exhibition will be open until 28 December 2012.
