Champions of Belgrade Opera in the Central Military Club
Champions of Belgrade Opera under the baton of Drasko Jankovic and with the Stanislav Binicki Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence have organized a concert to remember in the Conference Hall of the Central Military Club, tonight.
The audience had opportunity to enjoy a performance of Mozart's operas ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ and ‘The Magic Flute’, Rossini's ‘The Barber of Seville’ and Verdi's operas ‘Attila’ and ‘Rigoletto’. A feast for the ears was the arias ‘La Boheme’, ‘Love Potion’ and ‘La Traviata’ performed by the champions of Belgrade Opera. The evening ended little singers from the choir ‘Horislavci’ who performed the song ‘Choir of small soldiers’ from Bizet's opera ‘Carmen’.
Maestro Drasko Jankovic is a permanent member of the Belgrade National Theatre Opera Orchestra, founder and conductor of the Children's Choir ‘Horislavci’. He composes for film, where he worked on music for the full-length documentary film ‘Milica’, directed by Prof. Dragan Elcic, music for the short feature film ‘Game’, directed by Prof. Miroslav Zivanovic and the main title of the TV series ‘Okruzenje’ (Environment), which is broadcast in all the countries of the region.
