An Evening of Operatic Arias at Central Military Club

Last night, at the Central Military Club, An Evening of Operatic Arias was held. In the hall packed with audience, the voices of Jelena Radovanovic (soprano), Branislave Brinić (soprano) and Goran Krneta (bass-baritone) resounded, accompanied by Milivoj Veljic on piano.

The first part of the concert was dedicated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, to mark 260 years since the birth of the brilliant composer. Arias from the operas The Abduction from the Seraglio, Idomeneo, King of Crete and The Magic Flute elicited standing ovations from their fans and encouraged performers to bring the concert to an end even more vigorously, in a more convincing and emotionally powerful manner.

The participants in the concert are former students of solo singing at the Academy of Fine Arts and Multimedia in Belgrade, who continued their bel canto training after the studies through the Opera Studio "Pearls of Vocal Music" run by their professor Olivera Grujić Slavić.

Virtuoso talents of the already developed operatic voices of Jelena Radovanović, Branislav Brinić and Goran Krneta came to the fore in arias from Verdi's operas La Forza del Destino and Nabucco, then Eugene Onegin by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Wagner's Tannhauser, Puccini's work Gianni Schicchi and The Mikado by Sullivan.
