Creative workshop in the Central Military Club gallery for children held

The special exhibition program "Acquisitions of the Gallery of Matica Srpska 2001-2011". On Saturday 26th January 2013 from 11.00 to 13.00, a creative workshops for children, "How to collect art treasures!?" was held in the gallery of the Central Military Club.


Under the expert guidance of Jelena Ognjanovic, curator of education for the Exhibition Gallery of Matica Srpska children aged 5 - 7 years, through the game and the quiz could find out who works in a museum, who a curator, conserver are, what art treasures are and how it collected.

The creative part of the workshop for children focused on creating their works of art and then swapping them among each other. So they learned about the act of giving , and how to create a collection and how to preserve works of art that make up the cultural heritage.
