New issue of "ODBRANA"
In the middle of 2018, the first of the six helicopters, four assault and two multipurpose helicopters, will get AF and AD insignia. The helicopters were ordered from the “Airbus”. By introducing the new assets, the Serbian Armed Forces will develop new operational capabilities – starting from infiltration and fire support to counter-terrorist forces, to medical transport with the capability for administering the first aid even during the helicopter flight. On 2nd March, the Military Medical Academy is going to mark 173rd anniversary of its existence. In, more than a century long history, it went through periods of progress and the times of great challenges and trials. In those circumstances, its personnel matured and toughened, owing to whom the institution survived and become recognised by the society. On the occasion of the day of the institution, “Odbrana” interviewed Colonel Miroslav Vukosavlјević Prof Dr, who was until recently Head of the Clinic for Eye Diseases of the MMA and who was appointed as the Acting Head of the MMA on 17th January in accordance with a Decree of the President of the Republic of Serbia.
