Promotion of the illustrate monograph "Pearls of Serbia"



Monograph "Pearls of Serbia" by Dr. Stevan M. Stankovic was presented in full ceremonial hall of the Central Military Club

The book was presented by Miroslav Tasic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Culture and Information, Zoran Gutovic, director of "Orthodox words" Ljubivoje Rsumovic, president of the Culture and Education Association of Serbia, Jovan Brankov, Research Associate of the Geographic Institute "Jovan Cvijic” SANU, and the author.

The Secretary of State Tasic thanked the author as the monograph laid the foundation of the national strategy of the Serbian culture, which has three main objectives - cultural revival, moral improvement of the Serbian people and the return of their identity.

The author as the most responsible for the creation of the book, Dr. Stevan M. Stankovic said that the rich man is as much traveling.

- I traveled all through Serbia. I am a rich man. Part of this wealth is featured in the book "The Pearl of Serbia", now I present it to you. The book is written from the heart, from the soul, the heart and soul. It was written with the intent to educate, encourage, inspire warm words that Orthodox Christianity is a brighter side of Serbia, he said, adding that the author of the book is based and inspired by thoughts of his "grandfather in science," John Cvijic.

The director of "Orthodox words" pointed out that the authors have collected historical, cultural and spiritual values of Serbia, published them in a book, and hence made valuable travel within themselves and their traditions.

Jovan Brankov with a luxurious, gold letters on the cover of three colors, great shots commands respect and fear, and a monograph are a guide to understanding ourselves. Ljubivoje Rsumovic, after the speech, the audience welcomed the audience with his poem "Toast to the Serbian people."

In the artistic part of the program Oliver Njego, champion of the Belgrade Opera, Nikola Rackov University professor of art, Svetlana Stevic, a folk singer, choir "Stankovic" participated while the program was hosted by actress Ljiljana Blagojevic.

Illustrated monograph "Pearls of Serbia" is published in Serbian, English, Russian and German. Printed on 600 pages, the book received a multitude of awards, including the prestigious "Vukova nagrada", the highest award in the field of social culture in Serbia.
