“Reading the Line” in the National Museum of Kragujevac
Exhibition of graphic works “Reading the Line” from the art collection of the Central Military Club was opened today in the National Museum of Kragujevac. The guests were welcomed by Nenad Đorđević, Director of the Museum and then by Lieutenant Colonel Borko Lepojević on behalf of the Media Centre “Odbrana”.
-We started our cooperation with the National Museum of Kragujevac last year, when we together with the Secretariat General of the President of the Republic of Serbia and the National Museum of Čačak, presented a prestigious exhibition of the decorations Field Marshal Petar Bojović – “Symbol of Honour and Glory”. And yet I have to admit that it is my particular pleasure because today, for the first time, we are presenting ourselves independently by one of the exhibitions from the art collection of the Central Military Club – Lieutenant Colonel Lepojević stated.
The exhibition was opened by Senior Currator and Head of the Gallery of the Central Military Club, Jelena Knežević, explaining to the audience that the selection of 35 works which make the exhibition “Reading the Line” give the public an insight into development of the art of graphics of the fifties, sixties and seventies of the 20th century.
