The military is not just an ordinary working time, creating conditions for the existence of the family. The military is a way of life, a way of thinking, Brigadier General Željko Petrović, Commander of the First Army Brigade, said in his interview to "Odbrana". The dedication, the responsibility of everyone before himself and the unit, he thinks, is the essence of a military calling and a pledge of success. Pilots of the Serbian Air Force and Air Defence and the Russian Aerospace Forces successfully completed the third joint activity - "Brotherhood of the Russian and Serbian Aviators" at the Lipeck-2 Airport in the city of the same name, about 500 kilometers southeast of Moscow. After 75 sorties, 91 hours and 10 minutes spent in air, 123,400 kilograms of spent kerosene and a total of 1,096 pieces of ammunition, missiles and air bombs fired and dropped on targets on the ground, they concluded that the joint annual-tactical exercise "BARS 2017" has completely fulfilled its goal.
