Opening of the exhibition "Nadezda Petrovic: on both sides of the lens"
Exhibition "Nadezda Petrovic: on both sides of the lens" by Jasna Jovanov, PhD, Director of the Memorial Collection of Pavle Beljanski, will be opened on Friday, 15 March at 19:00 p.m., at the Small Gallery of the Central Military Club.
The opening speeches will be given by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Provincial Secretary for Culture and Public Information Slavisa Grujic, Director of the Memorial Collection of Pavle Beljanski, Jasna Jovanov, and Director of the "Odbrana" Media Centre, Lieutenant Colonel Slavoljub Markovic.
The exhibition, which was the result of several years of research of Jasna Jovanov, PhD, represents Nadezda Petrovic (1873-1915) in a new way. After first showing in the Memorial Collection of Pavle Beljanski, Belgrade audience will be able to see our most important painter of Modern Art and both as a photographer and as a model.
With this exhibition, in 2013, the Memorial Collection of Pavle Beljanski celebrates 140 years of the painter's birth.
