Concert of the Serbian-Jewish Choral Society
In the Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club, on Saturday, 23 March, at 8:00 pm, the concert "Endless Music" of the Serbian-Jewish Choral Society, will be performed by participants in master class "Israel in Belgrade", realized with Naomi Faran, a conductor from Israel.
The concert is a kind of collage of spiritual, traditional and modern compositions in Hebrew, Ladino, Yiddish, Serbian and English languages.Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy in the compositions, such as "Psalm 27", "Song of Songs", "HaDuda'im", "Erev Shel Shots Hanimi", "Schalom Aleichem", beautiful traditional songs between the Euphrates and Tigris, Sephardic romances ("Avre Tu", "En frente" ...), Serbian songs ("Magda, Magda," "Little Girl " ...).
Soloist is Alexander Stamatovic, baritone, main roles performer of Belgrade Opera, with piano accompaniment by Maja Apostolic Mihic. Admission is free.
