Evening Concert of Stanislav Binicki Art Ensemble
Stanislav Binicki Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence has performed tonight a concert evening for lovers of classical music at the Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club .
The repertoire included works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Richard Strauss and Camille Saint-Saens, that were performed with the ensemble, under the baton of Pavle Medakovic, by soloists Viktor Isakovic – the oboe and Ivana Sabaric – the piano.
The concert was divided into two units and began with overture by the ensemble "Stanislav Binički" and Mozart's composition of "Don Giovanni." This was followed by the performance of Viktor Isakovic who celebrated 15 years of cooperation with the ensemble. He has performed Strauss' Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra in D-major.
After a break, the guests were introduced into the magical world of classical music, by the notes of Camille Saint-Saens and his "Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 2" in G-minor, accompanied by musicians and the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence, by the artist Ivana Sabaric.
Ivana Sabaric is a graduate student in the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Ljiljana Vukelja. She is a laureate of many competitions, and for her work and achievements she won the annual prizes of the fund of "Kosta Manojlovic" in 2004.
Viktor Isakovic is currently a postgraduate student at the Faculty of Music in the class of Prof. Dragana Lazic. He is also the winner of numerous competitions in the solo competition and with chamber ensembles. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Strings of St. George and Stanislav Binicki Art Ensemble of MoD.
