Annual Assembly of Military Pensioners in the Central Military Club
At the Central Military Club in Belgrade, Regular Annual Assembly of the Association of Military Pensioners of Serbia was held assessing the work of the organization in the past year and specifying the main tasks for the forthcoming period.
Apart from numerous guests, the Assembly was attended by Vice-President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Konstantin Arsenovic, Head of Human Resources Sector at the SAF General Staff, Major General Sladjan Djordjevic, then Vice President of the Retirees Association of Serbia Duro Peric and President of the Association of Military Pensioners in the Republic of Serbia Milorad Kutlesic.
In the report, the President of the Association of Military Pensioners of Serbia Retired Lieutenant General Ljubomir Draganjac emphasized that cooperation with the commands and units of the Serbian Armed Forces was at a high level.
At the annual meeting of military pensioners it was assessed that, despite great efforts of the leadership of the organization, not all the rights granted by the law have been satisfied, and that in the forthcoming period new steps will be made in order to fulfill all that is stipulated by legislation, in particular the right to an extraordinary increase of pensions by 11.06 percent.
Delegates of the Assembly adopted the rulebook of social and humanitarian assistance to the Association of Military Pensioners of Serbia, and supported the decision to join the International Advisory Committee of the retired officers and the reserve officers, based in Moscow, bringing together veterans from many countries from East, West and others regions of the world.
