Exhibition "100 years of Balkan wars and WWI" opens
In the Small Gallery of the House of the Army of Serbia an exhibition of paintings , " The Centenary of the Balkan and First World War was opened last night.
The organizers of the exhibition are the Media Center " Odbrana " , the Association of War 1912-1918 volunteers , their descendants and admirers of Belgrade and Association 1912-1918 war volunteers , their descendants and admirers " Stevan Sindjelic " from Svilajnac .
President of the Association of War 1912-1918 volunteers , their descendants and admirers Belgrade Dr Vidoje Golubovic opened the exhibition and said that this is a small contribution to celebrating a century of Serbian wars.
- The exhibition must show our strength and fight not to forget , and to record how our ancestors suffered and how they laid their lives for their homeland while asking nothing in return. The paintings reflect the events, how then our people , how they loved Serbia, and we are now trying to remember and to preserve the memory , said Golubovic and said - beware of Serbia and tradition as they were ancestors stored and Care for History, it will return .
