Monograph “Military Intelligence Service in Serbia” presented at the Book Fair
One of the most important books presented this year to the readers by the Odbrana Media Centre is Military Intelligence Service in Serbia which has been presented to the visitors of the fair at the booth of this publishing house today.
It is a bilingual edition, rich with historical data as well as sketches of the lives of some of the most famous and the most successful Serbian intelligence officers. The monograph is richly illustrated with photographs and documents from military archives, many of which have not been available to the public so far.
The monograph was presented to the lovers of the written word and the guests by the Military Intelligence Agency spokeswoman Ivana Pejcic, Colonel Danko Strbac and Lieutenant Colonel Dragan Savic, who pointed out that the monograph is the result of the work and enthusiasm of the members of the agency, which addresses in details the past of the service that is as old as the military itself. Many of the actions and the members of that service, as they pointed out on this occasion, were the inspiration for many television series and movies.
Among the visitors of the presentation today, there was the MIA director Brigadier General Dragan Vladisavljevic.
