Fair presentation of the monograph “Military Security Service in Serbia”
As part of this year's 58th International Book Fair today at the booth of Odbrana Media Centre, fair presentation of the monograph “Military Security Service in Serbia” by Svetko Kovac and Irena Popovic, published by this military publishing and media house, has been held.Speaking about the importance of this book, whose first edition has already been sold out, Head of the Publishing Activities of Odbrana Media Centre Dragan Markovic said that the monograph presented the desire of this agency to open to the public and reveal some of its well-kept secrets.
The authors, Director of MSA Svetko Kovac talked about ideas for the development of the said book and its structure, and Irena Popovic shed light on some of the most interesting events that have been included in the monograph emphasizing the intention of demystifying security services.The book reviewer, an expert associate at the Institute for Contemporary History, Dr Bojan Dimitrijevic, pointed to the illustrations of the monograph, noting that it is real curiosity that the actual director of the agency is one of the authors.
Monograph "Military Security Service in Serbia" is one of the 400 titles offered to the readers by Odbrana Media Centre at this year's 58th International Book Fair.
