Exhibition of sculptures in the Gallery of the Central Military Club



In the gallery of the Army of Serbia , 15 January at 19 pm, will be an exhibition of sculptures from the collection of the Gallery of the Serbian Army "Mirror of time " . The exhibition , whose author is  consultant of the National Museum Vera Grujic , will be opened by art historian Nikola Kusovac .

The exhibition presents a representative selection from the art collection of the Central Club, which has more than 1,500 exhibits and 300 sculptures , which generally have not been exhibited so far .

It comprises 53 items, of which 49 and 4 are relief sculpture  by renowned visual artists from former Yugoslav countries , such as Risto Stijović, Luka Tomanović , Oto Logo , Toma Rosandić , Dusan Džamonja , Mattija Vukovic , Kosta Angeli Radovani , Stipe Sikirice , NAND Glide Nikola Jankovic , Janez ills , Sava Sandić and others.

Collection Sculpture Galleries of the Central Club was formed mainly from the purchase of a solo or group exhibitions , as well as gifts from artists who were once exhibited in the gallery. The collection includes significant works created during the 20th century, including the period immediately after the Second World War , whose analysis can be seen the development of fine arts in the former Yugoslavia .

The exhibition will be open until 30 January , every day except Sunday , from 11 to 19 hours.
