A Night of Harp and Bassoon
In the ceremonial hall of the Central Military Club, the concert season of the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defense "Stanislav Binički" has been opened tonight.In the first concert this year, the lovers of classical music were able to enjoy in the works of Sorkocevic, Handel and Mozart. The band played under the baton of Pavle Medakovic, Nadja Dornik had a solo performance on harp and Relja Kalapis on bassoon.
Nadja attends the first grade of high musical school "Mokranjac". She performed a Handel concerto for harp and orchestra. It is for the second time that she has her solo performance, and she said that although there was a positive stage fright, it was great to perform with an orchestra like "Stanislav Binički".
Relja is in the third grade of the music school "Stankovic". He played Mozart's Concerto for Bassoon. "I played before with some orchestras, but never as a soloist. Accordingly, my excitement was great. The impressions are yet to be settled", Relja said immediately after the performance.
