Evening dedicated to G.F.Telemann
In the Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club tonight, "Stanislav Binicki" Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence played compositions of the German Baroque composer Georg Philipp Telemann.Telemann wrote over 3,600 works and therefore he remained known as one of the most productive composers in history. Tonight, the audience was able to enjoy in some of these numerous compositions. The evening was divided into four concert units "Concerto in D major for trumpet, strings and continuo", "Concert Sonata for Trumpet and Strings", "Concerto in D major for trumpet, two oboes, strings and continuo" and "Concerto in D major for three pistons, strings and timpani".
Conductor’s baton was in hands of Pavle Medakovic, and soloists: Mladen Djordjevic - trumpet, Jovan Savic - trumpet, Nenad Ninkovic - trumpet, Dragan Lazic - oboe, Maria Lazic - oboe and Milan Popovic – continuo, performed with "Stanislav Binički" symphony orchestra. All soloists are participants and winners of numerous awards in national competitions.
