The Military Technical Courier indexed in DOAJ and ROAD databases
Since 23rd July 2014, the Military Technical Courier is indexed, referred to and available in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). DOAJ is an online directory that indexes and provides access to quality open access, peer-reviewed journals. Prior to the indexing, for several years, the journal had been monitored and evaluated by the professional team of the DOAJ database, starting January 1, 2011, when the electronic issue the Military Technical Courier ONLINE was started, at www.vtg.mod.gov.rs, in Serbian, English, German and French.
Being referred to in the DOAJ directory will provide the Military Technical Courier greater visibility, influence and frequency of being quoted. Numerous world aggregators legitimately take scientific content from DOAJ and include them in their databases. DOAJ is the most frequently quoted source of open-access journals of highest quality within scientific and research circles worldwide.
Since 7th July 2014, the Military Technical Courier has been indexed and visible in the ROAD. ROAD, the Directory of Open Access scholarly Resources, is a service offered by the ISSN International Centre with the support of the Communication and Information Sector of UNESCO.
Aside from these two international databases, the Military Technical Courier is also referred to in the EBSCO International Security & Counter-Terrorism Reference Center, The DOI® System, Google scholar, CrossRef, Journal Rate, Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek EZB (Electronic Journals Library), E-Library USA, Research Bible, Virtuelle Fachbibliothek Osteuropa, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and many more. Details and links on indexing are available at the Military Technical Courier website, page Journal Indexing.
Availability of the Military Technical Courier at the international databases gives way to the realistic possibility for the journal to soon become categorized with the international category.
