The film’s director Dragan Bjelogrlic had met Manjifiko earlier, in Ljubljana, when he “met not only a good man, but his music, as well”.

- I was particularly fascinated by the song “The Battle of Kosovo”, which I listed frequently, and it was basically the deciding factor for my desire to cooperate with Manjifiko – Bjelogrlic said, adding that he is particularly pleased with the cooperation between Manjifiko and the Serbian military orchestra and their European performances, and that he is looking forward to the concert in Sava center.

When asked about what the audience can expect on October 18, Robert Pesut confirmed that it would be a grand finale of the story that started in Belgrade.

Konferencija-Manjifiko- It began with recording music for hit films and TV series “Montevideo”, after which we held 15 concerts in Slovenia, Italy and Switzerland, and the latest one, in Ivanjica the previous weekend, which was practically a pre-premiere – the artist said, announcing that, the guest appearance on the concert on October 18 will be Spanish singer Luz Casal, with many more “unusual things” prepared exclusively for Belgrade.
After the press conference, the audience which filled the entire hall of the Central Military Club had the opportunity to watch the mini-concert with the most popular compositions performed by Manjifiko and his band with the Art Ensemble.

The film “Montevideo, vidimo se” (See you in Montevideo) will be the Serbia's nominee for the American Academy Awards.
