Odbrana Media Centre at the Belgrade Book Fair
This year again, Odbrana Media Centre is going to participate in the International Book Fair in Belgrade from 21 to 28 October 2012. Odbrana MC booth will be, as in the previous years, in the Hall 1 of the Belgrade Fair. It is recognisable for the symbols of the Ministry of Defence, the Serbian Armed Forces and Odbrana MC.
At the fair, Odbrana MC will present its publishing activity and twenty new titles, out of which seven are to be promoted for the first time at the fair booth. Promotion of the publications will be organized every day from 22 to 27 October, starting at 17.00 pm, with the participation of authors of the books, reviewers, and other promoters.
The Book Fair will be also the finale of the "Month of Book" ending the last day of the fair, on 28 October at 15:00, drawing prize winners in the contest in which all buyers of the issues of Odbrana MC had a right to participate in. This action has been conducting from 1st to 28th October in the Central Military Club, in the shop "Vojna knjiga" and at the Odbrana MC booth at the Book Fair.
A special segment of the fair presentation will be contribution to marking the 100th anniversary of the Serbian military aviation. Part of the booth, where publications on aviation, military posters and souvenirs will be sold are to be specially decorated for the promotion of the anniversary, and the members of the Serbian Air Force will provide support for that.
Appropriate promotional material has also been prepared with marks of the anniversary - catalogues, time tables, posters, bookmarks for books with calendar, free copies of the Odbrana magazine and guides from the "Batajnica 2012" air show which will be distributed free of charge to visitors, especially children, during the Family Fair Days (22 and 23 October) and Children's Day (25 October).
Opening hours are every day from 10:00 to 21:00.
