Visit of the Austrian delegation to Odbrana media Center
Delegation of the Ministry of Defence and Sports of the Republic of Austria visited today the Odbrana Media Center in the course of their several-day visit to the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defence. The role and tasks of this institution were presented to the guests by Director Colonel Stevica Karapandzin, who pointed out that Media Center is a referent source of information for members of the defence system and the general public, an esteemed publisher of military technical literature and titles from the field of defence, history, culture and informatics, and that the Central Military Club, where this institution is situated, has been one of the most noted sights of the cultural life of Belgrade with its exhibitions in the recent years.
The three-member delegation of the Ministry of Defence and Sports of the Republic of Austria showed great interest for the organization of the informational and publishing activities, the Internet and the ways in which the life and work of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Serbia are brought closer to the Serbian and international public. Representatives of the organizational units of Odbrana Media Center and the Military Film Center “Zastava” presented to the guests the work organization and activities in their units.
During the visit, the members of the delegation were introduced with the digitalization process of the photographic material of Odbrana Media Center, and they also visited the exhibitions at the Grand and Small Gallery of the Central Military Club.
