Exhibition "To pleasure through dance" opened

At the Small Gallery of the Central Military Club of Serbia, the traditional December exhibition of the art group of the Military Academy titled “To Pleasure through Dance”.According to president of the art group Lieutenant Colonel Dragan Avramovic who opened the exhibition, authors of the paintings expressed their emotions on canvases through playing with techniques and skills.
Art historian Branka Gostovic reminded the visitors that playing is one way a person can express himself and his purpose.
- The layers of the exhibition are reflected in various representations of dancing. Motifs like Serbian kolo, passionate tango, ballet, mother playing with her children, dance of swans, playful butterflies are merely some of the details that immortalized the light-motif of this exhibition. Each painting carries a wonderful message – the author’s thrill with the freedom to represent dancing in a creative and inspiring way.
Visitors can see the exhibition until December 13, 2014 on workdays and Saturdays, 11.00 – 19.00.
