Film "Officer Brotherhood" and play "Soldiers of Thessaloniki speak" at the Central Military Club of Serbia



During its regular session, in cooperation with the International Advisory Council of Organizations of Reserve Officers, the Club of Generals and Admirals of Serbia presented the film and the special issue of the magazine “Officer Brotherhood”, dedicated to the Conference on the Great War held last year at the Central Military Club.

Discussing the importance of the International scientific conference that was attended by around forty historians and scientists from twenty countries, President of the Assembly of the Club of Generals and Admirals Vidoje Pantic stressed the need of all just and honorable carriers of scientific and public word to once again warn of the dangers of equalization of the victim and the causer of the war. Therefore, conclusions from the last year’s conference are still relevant today, and the call for high state officials, especially leaders of most powerful countries and their youth organizations to actively contribute to strengthening peace in the world still stand.

The attending guess were also greeted by General Secretary of the International Advisory Council of Organizations of Reserve Officers Anatoly Kumakhov. The International Advisory Council gathers organizations of reserve and retired officers from 40 countries around the world, and the Club of Generals and Admirals of Serbia is among the more active members.

After the promotion of the film and handover of honorary medals of the Serbian Warrior, the guests had the opportunity to watch the stage play “Thessaloniki soldiers speak”, performed by members of the Academy of Arts in Belgrade.
