New issue of ODBRANA
Two centuries after the Second Serbian Uprising, next to the well-known Takovo Bush, with state and military honours, with salvos of ten volleys from ten pieces of artillery, the attractive ceremonial march of the Guard and handover of military flags to our units at brigade level, we marked the Serbia Armed Forces Day. Equally proud as their predecessors, those who paved the way to Serbian statehood and military, once again, in this historical place, our soldiers symbolically pledged to guard and protect Serbia and its citizens, and our national being, language and culture, diversity, dignity, and the right to a future. In the latest issue 231 of Odbrana of 1st May, you can also read about the maneuver space of today’s Serbian diplomacy, particularly in the light of the current conflicts in Europe and the Near East, as revealed by the highest official of the United Nations from our country.
