Concert “An Evening of Brahms” held in the Central Military Club of Serbia
Tonight, the MoD Art Ensemble Stanislav Binicki held another concert from the cycle of classical music titled “An Evening of Brahms” in the Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club of Serbia.
The program included the Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 73, and the Double Concerto for violin, cello and orchestra in A minor, Op. 102 by German composer of late Romanticism Johannes Brahms.
The Art Ensemble also presented soloists of rich international careers, violinist Katharine Uhde, professor at the Valpariso University in Chicago, and violoncellist Tatiana Uhde, solo cellist of the Paris Opera. The conductor of the concert was Pavle Medakovic.
Tonight’s concert was one of the line of concerts that our ensemble will realize this year in the halls of the Central Military Club in Belgrade for the citizens of Belgrade and MoD and SAF members.
