Exhibition "Reading the line" opened in Novi Pazar



On 5th June, in the Gallery of the Multimedia Centre in Novi Pazar, an exhibition titled “Reading the line” from the Graphic Fund of the Central Military Club of Serbia was opened, with several hundred works included.

For this occasion, 35 graphics have been selected, from authors that have primarily marked the Yugoslav art in the ‘50s, ’60s and ‘70s in the 20th century, and several authors that are considered representatives of the Serbian art of the more recent period. The citizens of Novi Pazar will have the opportunity to see the works of eminent Yugoslav and Serbian artists, such as Bosko Karanovic, Bozidar Jakac, Franc Mihelic, Branko Sotra, Emir Dragulj, Halil Tikves and others.

Guests of the opening of the exhibition were addressed by Ajla Dazdarevic, on behalf of the Gallery of the Multimedia Centre; Colonel Zoran Krupez, Deputy Director of Odbrana Media Center and Olivera Vukotic, author of the exhibition. The opening was attended by Director of the Multimedia Centre Husein Memic, most prominent intellectuals of Novi Pazar, such as Enes Halilovic and Ervin Catovic, and numerous citizens.

All interested visitors can see the exhibition until 26th June in the Gallery of the Multimedia Centre in Novi Pazar on workdays and Saturdays, from 08.00 to 22.00.
