Promotion of the book "Vasuclar anomalies of the head and the neck"
The book, "Vascular anomalies of the head and the neck," published by the Media Center "Odrbana", prof. Dr. Srboljub Stosic, Chief of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Military Medical Academy, was presented on 7th November at the MMA. MMA, Brigadier General prof. Dr. Marian Novakovic said on that occasion that this was a book of paramount importance in the field of vascular surgery and maxillofacial stressing that professional contribution of this work is reflected in the medical review systematized content, and multidisciplinary-present, which is very important, especially in the treatment of such illnesses. According to Chief of the Department for Education and Scientific Research Academy, Colonel prof. Dr. Predrag Romic, the book includes a description of numerous vascular anomalies of the head and neck, pathologic features, etiology and pathogenesis of these diseases, but also for the first time the local public presented and internationally accepted classification of anomalies based on the biological basis, which is why the professional medical public will benefit from of this section. Attendees were addressed by the Dr. Gordana Andjelic from the Institute for Medical Research Academy, prof. Tatjana Stosic-Opincal, director of the Center for radiology and MRI and Clinical Center of Serbia Aleksandar Vlahovic, a specialist in pediatric surgery at the Institute for Mothers and Child Care who along with prof. Dr. Srboljub Stosic, has participated in the creation of this work.
