Musical intermezzo at the Central Military Club
At the Gala Hall of the Central Military Club, the MoD Art Ensemble Stanislav Binicki held a concert of popular music “Musical intermezzo”, as a gift for the end of the musical season.The program began with the French march “La pere La Victoire“, аnd ended with our “March on the Drina”. During the program, instrumentals of popular and folklore songs were played, such as “Man and woman“,“Soul bossa nova“,“Quando quando“,“Spanish fly“,“Pukni zoro“,“Merakli cocek“,“Serbian south“ and others. The orchestra was conducted by maestro Pavle Medakovic and Major Igor Mitrovic, MSc.
Performances were also given by Aleksandar Aleksic, vocals and guitar, and singer Zorana
Pavic, and the concert was heated up even more by Misa Plavsic and Mirjana Savic, who danced tango. Head of the Ensemble Captain Svetozar Vasileski presented everyone with gifts for the good atmosphere they had made – the book “Military music and musicians” by Gordana Krajacic.As a surprise, at the end of the concert, it was announced that in a week, another concert would be held at the same hall – joint performance by Art Ensemble Stanislav Binicki and the Swiss Army Orchestra.
