Joint concert of the Serbian and Swiss military orchestras held
Tonight, in the Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club, in front of numerous audience, the MoD Art Ensemble Stanislav Binicki and the Small Military Orchestra of the Military of Switzerland held a joint concert. The end of the music season of the MoD Art Ensemble Stanislav Binicki and the National Day of Switzerland were more than enough reason for the two orchestras to hold a joint concert for the Belgrade audience. This important holiday is also the reason the Swiss orchestra is on a tour in the Southeast Europe. After Greece, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, tonight, the Serbian capital also had the opportunity to enjoy their music.
For this occasion, the Art Ensemble Stanislav Binicki singled out the best from their fixed repertoire: the March of King Alexander I, the Serbian South, Merekli Cocek and Izgubilo Dance. In addition, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy pop music with the performance of songs by Abba, after which our musicians left stage to their colleagues from Switzerland.
- These young musicians are only twenty years old, they have all completed basic training in March this year and they are students of the Music School - Major Patrick Robatel said while presenting his orchestra. He thanked the Serbian Armed Forces for the hospitality and organization of the joint concert.
This concert continues the international cooperation with foreign orchestras, a beautiful tradition started two years ago with the Military Orchestra of the Army of the US European Command, and last year with the Orchestra of the Army of Greece.
