Aware of the fact that the acquisition of new vessels will have to wait for better days, members of the Riverine Flotilla daily do their very best to combat challenges and threats on the “blue path” with the existing capacities. Also, they selflessly transfer their rich experience and acquired knowledge to their younger colleagues, who will continue the 100-year-long tradition of managing our waterways. The members of the riverine units will celebrate this year’s jubilee in new uniforms, which will alleviate their everyday duties – Commander of the Riverine Flotilla said for Odbrana of 1 August.
