The Association of Families of Missing and Killed Persons "Suza" began its work 18 years ago. It was founded by the families who sought the truth about the fate of their missing loved ones.
The audience was addressed by President of the Association Dragan Djukic, who said that the family members had been fighting more
- The multimedia programme "the UNforgotten missing" was not organized in the Central Military Club by accident, because, in this building, we held the first assembly on 14 February, 1998. Today's programme was prepared with a special commitment, because it has been 20 years since the persecution and killing of Serbs in the Croatian aggressions, and the problems of our families are not decreasing. According to our records, there are still some 2,000 missing persons. We demand that the processes of solving such problems are accelerated and that any politicization in finding answers to many questions is excluded - the president of the Association said and thanked numerous institutions that had helped the programme, including the Ministry of Defence.
Participants discussed the topic of "The Last Days of Krajina", performed folk songs, laments, recited verses, and played the oldest shepherd instruments and lowland bagpipes. The follow-up programme of today's event is an exhibition of photographs by Milojko Budimir "The suffering of Serbs in the 20th century".
