Director of the National Museum Smederevska Palanka Stevan Martinovic said that he was honoured to have the opportunity to work with Odbrana Media Centre, an institution which in recent years has become one of the most renowned exhibition institutions in the Serbian capital.
- Officially, the cooperation with Odbrana Media Centre We started two days ago, when, in the Small Gallery of the Central Military Club, the exhibition "Sword and Pen" was opened, dedicated to General and academic Zivko Pavlovic, and today we are honoured to welcome our friends from the Ministry of Defence that are presented to us through this valuable artistic exhibit.
Kusovac spoke about authors and their displayed works, and visitors in Smederevska Palanka were presented with 42 works from the collection.
- The selection we made strived to give us an aesthetically pleasing experience, because we live in a time of so-called postmodernism. With this exhibition, we tried to preserve the spirit by creating, without anything that destroys. Our artists who knew how to make what should be made in the painting, which we present to you tonight, left a serious mark, and had never accepted to deplete something without offering a new value - the author of the exhibition said.
The exhibition in Smedevska Palanka will be open until 6 November 2015.
