Defence Minister and Chief of General Staff at the Book Fair
Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic and Chief of General Staff Ljubisa Dikovic with members of his collegium visited the 60th International Book Fair. At the stand of Odbrana Media Centre in Hall 1, they were greeted by Head of the Public Relations Department Navy Captain Petar Boskovic and Director of Odbrana MC Colonel Stevica Karapandzin.
Colonel Karapandzin presented to the most responsible people of the defence system the latest editions that the military publishing has offered this year to the readers. On that occasion, Karapandzin singled out a few titles - "2nd Call Division of Sumadija (1914-1915)", Memoirs of General Dragutin Milutinovic, "For the Serbian Army - a forgotten story," a postcard album "Belgrade in the Great War", and " March on the Drina ", a story about one of the most famous Serbian compositions. Karapandzin stressed that the book by historian Mile Bjelajac, which had been presented last year at our booth had achieved great success in Russia and that the translation of the historiographical work has been included in the compulsory literature study history at the Lomonosov University.
Minister Bratislav Gasic presented to Danka Selic, Director of the Belgrade Fair a plaque of the Ministry of Defence in recognition of the long-term cooperation.
