Charity concert Concert "In the wake of Christ's birth"
In the Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club, the eleventh charity concert was held tonight, organized by the Society of Friends of Serbian Monasteries Studenica Circle. Concert "In the wake of Christ's birth" is of humanitarian character, and all proceeds from the purchased tickets for the third time go to the address of the Holy Trinity Monastery."I want to tell you that you are taking part in the noble purpose to complete the construction of the dormitory of the monastery of the Holy Trinity near Ljubovija, whose abbot is tonight's host father Serafim. It was his great efforts and hard work that he achieved for the Orthodox family to come to life and become one of the liveliest Orthodox centres of all Serbs ", Milenko Bodin, President of the Society of Friends of Serbian Monasteries Studenica Circle, which is the organizer of the concert, addressed the guests at the beginning of the show with these words.
After that the audience had a chance to see the performance of the group "Srbce" and listen to compositions composed by father Serafim, and the songs were mostly written by monk Simon: "O, mnogozeljena", "Srbce peva Bogu," "Mala deca vole Avu Justina" ... The guests of the concert were also members of the church choir of the Temple of St. Luke in Kosutnjak, father Arsenije Arsenijevic and Nebojsa Mastilovic from the group "Pirg" duet "Duo" and the group "Talita Kumi".
