Concert of members of the Music Service opened the musical season at the Central Military Club
Joint performance by the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence "Stanislav Binicki" and the Representative Orchestra of the Guard, on the occasion of 10 January – Day of the Music Service, tonight in the Conference Hall of the Central Military Club opened a new musical season at the institution. Numerous guests in the Atrium of the Central Military Club were welcomed by the Military Orchestra from Nis.
The musical evening in the rhythm of famous military marches, waltzes, ballet and energetic Balkan notes was attended by State Secretaries in the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Zoran Djordjevic and Nenad Neric, Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic with members of the Collegium, and numerous lovers of high-quality music.
Special guest was virtuoso on the clarinet maestro Bozidar Boki Milosevic who, announcing his performance with members of the Music Service of the Serbian Armed Forces, which for the first time celebrates their Day this year, said that he was honoured to perform with the best musicians that Serbia has.
The program included works by Schlesinger, Sedlacek, Binicki, Vrtacnik, Knezevic, Khachaturian, Bizet, Hristic and Boki Milosevic, and orchestras performed under the batons of Major Aleksandar Djurov and Igor Mitrovic, as well as maestro Pavle Medakovic.
