Expert guidance through the setting of the exhibition dedicated to Olga Bogdanovic
On Saturday, 13 February at the Small Gallery of the Central Military Club, the first in a series of thematic interpretations of the exhibition "Pavle Beljanski - Friend of Artists: Olga Bogdanovic", entitled "Joining the circle of Pavle Beljanski", was held.
Curator of the exhibition Milan Kvas spoke about friendship of Pavle Beljanski with Olga Bogdanovic and Milo Milunovic, as well as with other artists whose works the collector included in his collection.
She pointed out that the exhibition “Pavle Beljanski – Friend of Artists: Olga Bogdanovic” fifth in the series of exhibitions dedicated to revealing of new data on Pavle Beljanski and the artists whose art work he collected. With this exhibition and the accompanying catalogue the public has opportunity for the first time to be presented on a larger scale the life and creativity of the Belgrade painter Olga Bogdanovic.
She has become part of the artistic circle close to Pavle Beljanski, primarily as the wife of Milo Milunovic, and the testimony of their friendship is kept in Documentary Fund of the Memorial Collection and served as a starting point for research and realization of the exhibition.
The open children's workshop will be held in the Small Gallery of the Central Military Club on Saturday, 20 February at 11 am, and the exhibition will be open until the 5th February, every day, except Sunday, from 11 am to 19 pm.
