Children's workshops and expert guidance through the exhibition dedicated to Olga Bogdanović

A children's workshop inspired by the works of artist Bogdanović was held in the framework of the exhibition Pavle Beljanski - Friend of Artists: Olga Bogdanović, in the Small Gallery of the Central Military Club, on Saturday 27 February. The exhibition belongs to the cycle of exhibitions dedicated to friendly relations of collector Pavle Beljanski and artists whose work he collected. This is the first time that a single exhibition included the entire opus of Olga Bogdanovic, made up of 34 works of art. The exhibition also includes numerous photos from family albums, which testify to the painter's family, her education but also to the cultural situation in Belgrade in the thirties of the last century. The works of art depict civil taste of the artist mixed with developments in the interwar Belgrade. Author of the exhibition is Ksenija Vasin, an art historian, and the setting in Belgrade was realized by the exhibition curator Milana Kvas, MA.

Inspired by the exhibition, the youngest ones had the opportunity to reproduce in their own way the selected paintings from the collection. The children's workshop of fine arts will be held also next Saturday at the same place, when the works will be brought together and presented in the Small Gallery.

After completion of the workshop, the audience heard stories from the personal life of artist Olga Bogdanović from the perspective of her son, Nikola Kolja Milunovic. His memories, supported by photographs from the artist's personal album, revealed some more intimate details of the life of his mother, from which she had drew her artistic inspiration.
