Socializing on 8th March entitled "Tea Party with Art" in the Great Gallery of the Central Military Club
In the Great Gallery of the Central Military Club tonight, on the occasion of Women's Day, traditional socializing, organised by the National Museum has been held in the exhibition halls, entitled "The National Museum to women co-citizens".
This time the gathering was arranged in the atmosphere of the exhibition of drawings and prints of the National Museum in Belgrade "When the women became citizens", which is open from 11 February to 17 March in the Central Military Club, which follows the emancipation of women in our country.
During the two-hour meeting, from 5 to 7 pm, with a cup of coffee, the fairer sex has been able to talk to women who perform important tasks in the Central Military Club and the National Museum – primarily with Colonel Biljana Pasic from the Central Military Club, with Gordana Grabez, operating Director of the National Museum, as well as the author of the exhibition Gordana Stanisic, who took the interested ladies through the exhibition telling them about how the women passed through the process of transformation from the oriental milieu towards the European standard. This is the time from 1830 when the obligation to conceal the face and body veil scarf was abolished.
Tonight's gathering was also attended by Director of the "Odbrana" Media Centre Colonel Stevica Karapandzin.
