According to the Head of the School of National Defence, Colonel Miroslav Talijan, PhD, the book presents a practical reading with a series of instructions used for a healthy life, which was a result of a thirty-year experience in the work with students of the Military High School, Military Academy cadets and officers of the Serbian Armed Forces.
-Our society practices physical activity much less than necessary and is subject to the growing epidemic of obesity, although our knowledge about healthy lifestyle has been significantly improved, Colonel Talijan said, noting that numerous studies show that many diseases can be prevented by practicing regular and moderate physical activity. He pointed out that the work of Dr. Glavac will be of great benefit to employees in the army and institutions of military education, as it gives answers to basic questions related to healthy nutrition and exercise.
