New issue of "ODBRANA"

The world is facing many challenges, risks and threats. There are many causes for that, but one of the most important causes has geopolitical aspects. Namely, the USA wants to preserve the planetary leadership. On the other hand, economically prosperous China, the militarily restored Russian Federation and other centres of power wish to have a greater role in the "world affairs". Inevitable is the struggle for control of resources, especially energy and drinking water. The Islamic factor is more and more active. In the conditions of significant technological progress, first in the field of information technology and the production of weapons, there is a potential risk of the outbreak of a major war, but it will not happen, only local armed incidents and wars of different scale will occur, where all kinds violence and power will be exerted – Branko Krga, PhD, professor at the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security says among other things for the new issue of "Odbrana" Magazine.
