Music Trilogy in the Central Military Club
Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club was too small last night to accommodate all the interested citizens of Belgrade who wanted to enjoy in the Music Trilogy, concert of Abrasevic Cultural Artistic Society and Stanislav Binicki Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence.
With arias from the famous operas Nabucco and La Traviata, the film Cigani lete u nebo (Gypsies fly in the sky), the songs Tamo daleko (There, Far Away), Pukni zoro (Explode, Dawn), Devojko mala (Little Girl) and many others, 100 years of artistic work of Ivanka Stojkov, Tanja Andrejic and Miroljub Todorovic, collectively speaking, were marked in the best way.
Professor Ivanka Stojkov celebrated 50 years of her pedagogical, artistic and stage work. During her professional career she successfully cooperated with many domestic and foreign music show business artists, as evidenced by the performances of the choirs which she managed in Vienna, Budapest, Rimini, Lloret de Mar, Prague, Ohrid, Paris and numerous awards.
Soprano Tanja Andrejic delighted the audience with her voice in the Central Military Club last night. For 15 years of her artistic career, which began back in her age of a little girl in the shows Muzicki tobogan (The Music slide), Deco, pevajte sa nama (Children, sing with us), this talented artist has known only victories, like those at the Belgrade Spring festival, Golden Mermaid competition ... Tanja Andrejic is now passing her rich experience from performances in the Belgrade National Theatre, the Macedonian theatre in Skopje, the Leipzig Opera and the Berlin State Opera, on to her younger colleagues, as a professor of Mokranjac Music School and vocal pedagogue in the choir of the Abrasevic Cultural Artistic Society.
Miroljub Todorovic, better known as Jimmy, has lasted on the music scene for 35 years. He began his career in the Orchestra of Radio Belgrade, and parallel to that, he worked as artistic director of the National Orchestra of the Abrasevic Cultural Artistic Society. With the Frula Ensemble he played in the orchestra World Dancers-Disney World in Florida, in the Miami Symphony Orchestra ... He also played in rock bands and pop groups FAR and OCTOBER 1984. To date he has been a member and soloist of the SBC Grand National Orchestra (flute/pipe).
Special atmosphere to the Music Trilogy was given by the anchor, Minja Subota, and the guest of the evening – legendary singer Djordje Marjanovic, who was followed again by numerous visitors in the audience as he sang.
