Action for Blind People association performs a charity concert



In the Conference Hall of the Central Military Club, a humanitarian concert organized by the Action for Blind People Association has been held tonight.
 
The charity concert to raise the funds for purchasing software for printing Braille books and magazines gathered together many classical music lovers. Thus, the audience was able to enjoy in the performance of compositions by Paganini, Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Di Capua, but also in the mix of popular songs and operatic arias.
 
Romantika String Ensemble, soprano Jasmina Trumbetas, Champion of National Theatre, Goran Simpraga, tenor of the opera of the National Theatre, Luka Joksimovic Barbat, President of the Action for Blind People Association, International Choir of Belgrade singers, an actress Ana Sofrenovic, Gledanice band and many other artists beautified with their voices the evening to everybody who was present in the crowded hall of the Central Military Club.
 
At the end of the programme, all the participants together sang the song Svirci moji (My Musicians) and Luka Joksimovic Barbat, President of the Action for Blind People Association, thanked all the present guests and expressed hope that "tonight, we all together, apart from enjoying in a great program, managed to raise enough funds thus to help blind people to know the world around them through the books printed on the only letter that they understand- Braille".
